Job Overview:
The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) is inviting online applications for the recruitment of Leave Training Reserve (LTR) Teachers in Government Secondary Schools under the School and Mass Education Department, Odisha. A total of 6025 vacancies are available for various teaching positions. Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit (as of 01.01.2024):
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 38 years
- Age Relaxation: As per OSSC norms.
Educational Qualifications
TGT Arts:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Commerce or Shastri (Sanskrit) Degree with two school subjects and 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD/SEBC) and B.Ed/3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.
- OR Four-year integrated B.A. B.Ed. with two school subjects and 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD/SEBC).
TGT Science (PCM/CBZ):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science/B.Tech/B.E. with two school subjects and 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD/SEBC) and B.Ed/3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.
- OR Four-year integrated B.Sc. B.Ed. with two school subjects and 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD/SEBC).
Telugu Teacher:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Arts with Telugu as a subject and 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD/SEBC) with Telugu B.Ed.
Classical (Sanskrit) Teacher:
- Bachelor’s Degree with Sanskrit or Shashtri in Sanskrit with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD/SEBC) and B.Ed/Shiksha Shastri.
Hindi Teacher:
- Bachelor’s Degree with Hindi and 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD/SEBC) and one of the specified training qualifications (Hindi Shikshan Parangat, B.H.Ed., B.Ed. in Hindi).
Urdu Teacher:
- Alim/Fazil or B.A. (Persian) with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD/SEBC) and B.Ed./Urdu B.Ed.
Physical Education Teacher:
- +2 (Intermediate) or equivalent with C.P.Ed./D.P.Ed./B.P.Ed./M.P.Ed.
