Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Head Constable (Motor Mechanic):
  • 10+2 from a recognized board.
  • Certificate in Motor Mechanic from a recognized institution or ITI with 3 years of experience, OR
  • Diploma in Automobile Engineering.
• Constable (Motor Mechanic):
  • Passed 10th from a recognized board.
  • ITI in relevant trade or 3 years of experience in the trade.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 25 years
• Age Relaxation: As per government norms.

Selection Process

The selection process includes:

1. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) – Qualifying in nature.
2. Physical Standard Test (PST) – Measurement of height, weight, and chest.
3. Written Examination – Objective type, 100 marks.
4. Practical/Skill Test – For candidates shortlisted after the written exam.
5. Medical Examination – Final fitness check.
