Eligibility Criteria

For Classes 1 to 5

• Higher Secondary with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
• Alternatively, 45% marks in Higher Secondary and Diploma as per NCTE guidelines of 2002.
• Other equivalent qualifications (e.g., 4-year B.El.Ed or Special Education Diploma).

For Classes 6 to 8

• Graduation with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
• Alternatively, 50% marks in Graduation or Postgraduation with B.Ed.
• Other qualifications like 4-year B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed. with minimum 50% marks.

For Classes 9 to 12

• Graduation/Postgraduation in a relevant subject with 50% marks and B.Ed.
• Equivalent qualifications such as 4-year B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed. or 3-year Integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.
